Power steering pressure hose leak
N00B question, but I replaced my power steering pump with a reman and now I can't get it to stop leaking at the connection to the pressure hose. No O-rings or anything else came out to my knowledge, and I've tightened it prettty prettty good. Still, I get a steady drip. The manual shows a little turd of a piece that appears to go between the power steering pump body and the hose, but again, I didn't notice anything when I removed the pressure hose. Would it hurt to put an o-ring over the bevel at end of the hose or something like that??

Re: Power steering pressure hose leak
From what I remember when I replaced my power steering pump, the fittings on both ends are flare fittings. Don’t tighten them up too much you don’t want to strip the threads. Take them apart and have a good look at them making sure that both ends are clean and not buggered up. If you have trouble seeing inside, use your phone to take a picture.
