Hi,
Does the drivers front window need to be glued into the rubber track or is it a press fit? I have lubed up all moving parts on the regulator and the window rolls up smoothly, but when I roll it down the glass still pops out of the rubber track.
Thanks!

Re: Front DS window jumping off track
normally just friction holds it in place
it takes some pretty good whacks with rubber mallet to knock it on
if it goes on easy something is wrong

Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.

it should stay in place by itself. You can glue it in with polyurethane glue. clean off the glass and rubber good, and the metal bracket, and use polyurethane construction adhesive to hold it all together. YOu can get black, that is what is used on modern windshields, holds up well long term, or you can get the wood colored type in a big push tube (more like a honey color) that you buy in a big box store. Both are similar, both should work fine. I think the stuff from the lumber yard costs less.
