TWO Sub 138,000 miles Transmissions for sale in UTAH!!!!!

Went to the local pick 'n pull and found two tercels with less than 138000 on the trans, one a '84, the other '85, and a third, a '83 with 198,00, all 6 speeds! Please get these before the crusher does! I would be willing to call in sick tomorrow and get these if someone wants then BAD and willing to pay for it.... I will have to remove them from the cars. Willing to pull rear diff also. Want to keep these jewels out of the trash!

well worth it, even if for parts. the ''83 and 84 will have the 3.73 front diff ratio, the '85 should have the 4.1:1 ratio.

If the car was wrecked the engine and trans were likely running, if the body is near perfect good chance either trans or engine is bad (too costly to fix so sold to wrecking yard). Pull all the trans drain plugs and inspect the magnet, put finger up inside and try to feel for metal shavings or broken parts. If so far so good, once you get them out of the car, turn the input shaft by hand and shift it though all the gears and feel for chucks, clunks or skips. If all feels smooth on both input and output shaft it is likely good.

which pick n pull please?? i live in the avenues and need a couple little parts/ 410 tranny wouldnt be a bad upgrade(i kno, axles)

wow i suppose i could have dropped one of these transmissions (or both) and put it in the 83 sitting transmissionless in winnemucca by now, step your post-game up. im literally driving to cali today and could have done that. would love a response, stilll!
