Hey, look at it this way, the group may have a new member soon!

And 3, it's alright, I was just in a mood and not in my normal receptive-to-sarcasm self. Hell, I am probably one of the biggest smart asses you will ever meet! BTW, I almost made my forum name 4A-C Power, but I didn't want to seem like a copycat, just a smart ass!

Ok I just hope you know that the comments were purely for fun. I am really glad you got excited about the car I almost got. I was excited too, and that's why I wrote some crazy stuff. I'm a musician too, by the way. I wrote to the winner of the ebay deal and he wrote back, saying he would probably visit this page.

3A-C Power is really meant to be sarcastic, I made that my name on club4ag because of the way they all know the 4A-C as the other, much worse engine on the Corolla SR5, and how little power it makes. If you want to one-up me on that, you would have to move down rather than up in the engine designation. For example, you could use the 2A-C (1.3 litre) for even more sarcasm. These comments, again, are purely for fun. I am always misunderstood because I sound serious even when I'm not, both in speech and in writing. I have to start using those darn smiley faces like everyone else.

It looks like someone is parting out an 87 front wheel drive

We could wait until the auction ends without any bids and lowball him

How about '4K-C Power' ?  My wife owned a Toyota Starlet when I first met her. That was one of the most gutless cars I've ever driven (next to an old diesel landcruiser wagon I drove once). Mind you, it would have been a pretty sweet car with a 4age in it :D .

Looks rough but no explicit mention of any rust. It might be good.

I'm right there with you 3A-C, I POWER through the ebay sweep nightly. It's a sickness, isn't it?

Did you check out the Toy alloys here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... IT&rd=1

I am looking to update my wheels/tires, but I don't want to go crazy, just kind of a not-stock/stock look. Even stock from other makers (I'd love to grab a pair of the stock Miata alloys) would be fine. Can't afford and don't really want, any 18" super-chromies. I love my car, but it is still a 86 Tercel....And it's still my daily utilitarian driver/lover!

I knew it had to come from either Washington or Oregon, the Tercel 4WD paradise. It amazes me 3A-C Power how you can spot all of these Tercel 4WDs that I can't. It has the original cargo cover, alloy wheels, damn; it comes with everything, just $600 and 970.67 miles away from me. I now know these great cars are far from becoming extinct because their owners like them and keep them.

I've been out of the wheel watching scene but I was there for a while, hardcore. Those look like MR2 supercharged wheels. I have MR2 n/a alloys which I love. I bought them off a guy on club 4ag. You can see both sets of wheels on a Tercel 4WD on the Yahoo board photos. I like stock Toyota 14" alloys on the Tercel. Aftermarket rims just do not suit the car's style.

SOMEONE BUY THOSE WHEELS!! Those are the same rims I have. They are the same as AE92 GTS alloy rims. They are the perfect offset and size for the tercel wagon, and make it look a million times better. They much harder to get then you might think, and it looks like the price will remain low on them.

Get that rough looking one just for the cruise control. It is so rare.

I'm off ebay for a couple days and they really start coming up. I just checked and there's also this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... ry=6783 It's being listed for at least the second time. Does not look rusty.

Where I was, there was a Tercel 4WD almost directly across from me in the parking lot. This is the same place I've had a note left on my car before so it might be the guy who left it. I left a note for him this time. That car looked worse than any I've seen, and I've been looking at these cars for years. It had large rust spots everywhere and the front fenders were entirely rusted on the surface, as if they weren't ever painted.

The top of the head of that 86's engine kind of looks like my dad's 83. That car is seriously rusted, but the interior looks ok. Wonder how much it's going to go for.
