3A-C Power you're not that far away from Milwaukee, and I know this all thanks to my geography class, hmm... so that's why they make you take that class! Your welcome, as I will probably be in your shoes in around 7 years hopefully finishing my degree in Engineering (not too sure of specialty) so if had the money I would sure give it to you. Not to mention that I've always wanted an 85-86 wagon even though I'm not sure why and that fact that I really didn't know that there was an 87-88 Tercel 4WD so it's a good idea I joined that Yahoo group and learned so much from you guys. Oh yeah, the 84 Tercel 4WD has been sold (my laptop computer is flying out the 2nd story window and lands in a thousand pieces). Man it was sold in 4 days! I can't believe it! Oh you must be wondering how I completed the post, hmmm... I glued it back together and it's as good as new!

Aww heck, I would even loan the money to 3 for the project to come of light. Or maybe you could come up with something to swap for the cash. There has to be a way. I am a new 4wd Terc owner, but a long time Toy lover, and with the amazing love us owners (and other specific Toy owners) have for our vehicles, it really inspires me. I have owned a 78 Celica, 80 and 82 Tercel, 81 Celica, and a 88 Camry, and it amazes me that for each of those vehicles, I have found a vehicle-specific group of owners who are passionate about their cars. I'm sure there are like instances for other makes, but since I haven't pursued them, so I don't know. Toyota people are nuts about their vehicles. And bless them all. There is a nice 80 Terc hatch on ebay I am watching, and a friend had a 78 'Rolla SR5 I am trying to get. Still want a 77 or earlier Celica, and a 78 Celica coupe to replace my second car. But my point is, with a car like these Tercs there is a real small group who love these cars for what they are, not just for their utilitarian and reliable use, and we need to try to keep these cars alive. I mean, how many were produced for our respective markets, and how many are left after the crashed, abused and neglected, and just deteriorated ones? Probably a bit, but since there is such a small-ish group of people who think these econo-4wd wagons are worth anything, how long will they last, especially with the lack of replacement parts (body panels, performance parts, interior pieces) deteriorating. Dammit, get the car 3! (all that for this!!!!!!!!!) Sorry for the ranting, my frien Bud(weiser) came over for a visit!
By the way, there is a pretty SR5 I drive past every day that has been sitting in the same spot for at least 5mo., I am thinking about stopping by the house some weekend and seeing what is going on with is. Looks so pretty in red!

Ok Fingers, it sound like you really want me to get it. How about $200 for that sr5 cluster? Need any other parts? How about an awesome set of stock steel wheels with those kick-ass chromed plastic centercaps for $2000 including crap tires?. You mentioned body panels, do you need body panels? I have 4 rust free doors and an almost rust free right front fender complete with factory antenna. Like you said, they're getting rare, so $10,000 for the set? The seller is a body specialist and he assured me it is indeed rust free, so I will be bidding today. I'm only kidding about the parts, it was meant to appear to be so ridiculous that people would know it's only a joke. If it's a bad joke, I'll erase the damn post. I appreciate everyone on this board.

I hope you are being a smart-ass. If not, I'll leave the group, I don't need to deal with anymore a-holes than I do in my everyday life. I would love to find a similar car for such a low price, even if just for parts, but I guess a little enthusiasm is frowned upon by some.

 I think I've missed something here. 3A-C Power, your post does seem like it was created to offend someone (although I know this is not what you intended). I have not followed everything enough recently to know what you were joking about. You might consider editing it to be more clear.
Fingers, It's good to have you here man. No offense was intended above. Your participation here is appreciated, please stick around. B)
Cheers,
Nick

Sniper bidding rocks, especially if the auction ends at like 3 in the morning! "ha, ha, embezel_funds86, you can't possibly have a f-ed up of a sleep schedule as me!"

Well I can't snipe because I have to go write an exam, so I had to bid early. You guys can watch and see if I win (I'm groovin4god on ebay) Fingers, if my post makes me at best a smartass and at worst an asshole, I recant. I aspire to be a nice person. Please forgive me, I need your kind thoughts to help me win the auction. Carlos, can you try to hack ebay so nobody else can bid? I know you can do it.

Outbid by $2.50. He sniped my ass, only bidding $2.50 above my amount. He bid up to it in $5 increments and then went over. He's got a feed back of 350 or something so he's an ebay pro. I could have been there because my exam was at 2:00 instead of 7:00, so I missed it and now I'm screwed in 2 ways at once. At least now I don't have to go spending money I don't have.
