Transmissions anyone?

On my drive north from Los Anglese I stopped at five PicknPulls along the way. And there were good 6 speed 4x4 transmissions in three Tercels. ONe was in Antalope CA (next to Sacarmento) it was an '85 w/about 160k miles, trans is likely good. It had been overheating, it had a new rad (which I took), new water pump, etc PO gave up on it likely when he found out it needed a new head gasket, so trans is liky good. Seats were good too, blue diamond pattern.

And there are two in the Sherwood OR PicknPull (just south of Portland). One '85 had about a 180k miles, the other '87 about 240k. Both shifted through the gears. I would have taken them but I did not have the time to get them. And the price has gone up to $160 plus tax (including the core charge which I would have to pay).

So if you need a trans, even if you do not, someone should get those trans. It would be a shame if these cars went to the crusher with a good Tercel4wd trans in them.
