So I was cruising the local craigslist today and looky what I found.

This is a great deal for us Terc heads. I would be all over it but I have running car and a parts car already and if I bring 2 more home my neighbor might shoot me.

Freight to the Lower 48 might be a bummer...
How about B.C.? Don't laugh at my ignorance of miles up thataway...

I drove the Alcan hiway back in '95. What impressed me most was how one could drive huge miles every day and just inch along on the map.

I didn't think it would last long.

Yeah driving the Alcan Highway is an adventure. Ive done it twice and if your not in a hurry it can be a great trip. If your trying to make time its a real meat grinder.

Surprisingly there are quite a few Tercel Wagons running around up here. There are great Alaskan Cars. I wouldn't hesitate jumping in mine and driving all over the state, Ive done it may times.

luckily, westfalias are ONLY good for taking your time. it kind of forces you to relax because there is absolutely no way to keep up with the rest of traffic, let alone maintain the speed limit. which is fine for vacation!
