ANy source for carburetor ? new carb available?

Post by bliimee »

I am doing a repower on an '86 CA tercel 4WD and would like to find a new or factory rebuilt carb, anyone know of a source? Are there any online places selling discounted factory parts in general? Local shop wanted $500 to rebuild carb.

RockAuto may have a carburetor for your car. Check out our Catalog www.rockauto.com. Search using the Make, Year and Model of your car.

Gee - only $418 - for a reman...
National is still only $180...
Check this out - also do a Search in the Forum for carburetor and ARCHINSTL as the originator for additional comments.
I've been happy, overall, with National.

For ? reason, the above-posted link does not work, whereas it did a couple of months ago.
Instead, use http://www.nationalcarburetors.com/look ... num=TOY156
It works...
