found some webber kits cheap!
I found a complete webber conversion kit on racepages.com for $299 US, and they do free shipping within the US.

That's what I want to know too...I look up a 87 and they list a "3KC" Motor...What the hell is a 3KC? I know for a fact my T4wd has a 3ac...jetswim wrote:It says that it will fit 83-86. What about the 87-88? Will it fit?
anyone else notice that the kit for 299 only has a manual choke? and, it says the kit retains the oem air cleaner...
im confused

I've got you beat. I just got a Weber for $35.
How you ask? 1979 Ford Pinto Runabout offered it up to me. It needs a rebuild, maybe rejet, and the rest of the parts from the kit, but $35 is a dang good place to start.
Actually $36 post-tax

i looked into that, the 3Kc is a 1.1L engine, same carb, but it may be jetted differantly. the adapter should work though, I would call redline and ask before ordering this kit.
the stock air filter won't work, but its the redline webber kit, and it does come with another air filter, so no worries.
K740M is a manual choke and K740 is an eletric choke.

Oh dookie in a basket...
Its a Holley/Weber R8757. Basically a rebadge/lightly modded Weber 32/36. It is a mechanical linkage 2ndary progressive 32/36 carb produced by Holley in a joint effort with Weber.
No mention of it on Holley's site. Might see if I can get ahold of someone at Weber if they exist anymore and see if the parts are interchangeable.
I'll get some pics in a minute...
AKA the Holley 5200 Carburetor.
Reman Holley version of R8757= 64-3303
Rebuild kit for Part No. 64-3303= 3-1277
Now, is 3-1277 good for the original 5200? I don't know.
You know, I guess its ok. Even if I can't figure anything out with it, at least I only shelled $36 for it. If all else fails I can buy a rebuild kit (If NAPA or CarQuest carry it) and resell it for $100 or so.
I'll let anyone know if I find anything else out.
