This alternator is from a 1985 Tercel 4WD SR5, 3AC engine.
As far as I know, it still "works" but may need new brushes to work properly. I have replaced brushes once - it was fairly easy, after getting the brushes (OEM brushes were not required).
I know after-market, used, and reconditioned alternators can be found - I post this in case somebody wants the real McCoy and the experience of replacing brushes - learn by doing, right?
