'87 2WD DLX wagon added to wrecking yard in Kansas City, MO on 1/1/2020

by now I must sound like a broken record whenver an '87 or '88 Tercel wagon shows up on Row52.com ... and I'll continue to do so because I'm still in need of the unique headlamp assemblies that fit these 2 model-years only... I need both the driver's side and passenger's side assemblies to make my '87 T4WD DLX wagon whole again

if any Forum member near Kansas City checks out this vehicle and it has one or both headlamp assemblies in decent condition, please grab them!

Dairmait and I texted about this one earlier, I believe we both have auto alert through Row52.com.

I assumed the grills were different enough that the two wheel drive headlights would not work for a 4WD. I'm not sure what my weekend holds, but will let you know if I get a chance to retrieve the headlamps.

Headlight ass'ys ARE the same. Grills are different (but interchangeable.)

The gal ringing me up labeled it a “spare tire cover”, under $10.00.

And “Toad” (Tercel #2) is brown, though this dark brown may stand out against the 83’ plaid, will have to see.

Another beautiful January day in MO (crazy), got some time with my parts car.

For anybody pulling a rear drum. If you don’t have the correct bolts to remove the drum, you can use two of the door hinge bolts. Got my driver’s side rear axle pulled as well.

Sounds good. I am waiting for tax moneyz to finish my build. Still need cams, cam gears, clutch, head gasket, knock sensor, fuel pressure regulator, figure out what fuel to use, break it in, then get it tuned. The high compression pistons really f***** the build haha.
