only one crappy photo which doesn't reveal much about the suitability of this vehicle as a parts source

if anybody local checks out this wagon and finds the composite headlight assemblies are in good condition, I urge you to grab 'em and to PM me because I'm in need of a complete driver's-side unit...

You can contact local people on the Row52 app (or website?) who will pull and ship parts for you. I've done it once with great results.

Sure, I suppose I could go with a Row52 parts-puller, but I imagine those folks are in it to make a quick buck and are probably not known for giving the customer the most competitive prices or careful packaging, nor are they likely to be a good evaluator of the condition or suitability of the parts they're pulling. Also, what is their return policy if the parts are unsuitable for some reason? I would only use one of those parts pullers as a last resort.

For the driver's-side headlight assembly I'm looking to acquire (from a 1987 or 1988 Tercel wagon), I'd much rather do business with a Forum member who would almost certainly be a better judge of the condition of the composite headlight unit (e.g., no holes, cracks, or excessive pitting in the lens) and would also probably give me a much better deal on the cost plus shipping.

Just my $0.02

Yea, I tried to get a set of 87 lights from a row52 puller...actually I think it was just the one light, plus a few other things. The guy pulled them all and bought them before telling me the prices then he wanted an exorbitant fee and shipping for it all. I told him it was unreasonable and to see what we could do on prices and he turned into a ghost.

how do you know it is FWD, and not 4wd? the link does not say trans type, and the front grill is missing, so it is hard to tell if it is fwd or 4wd. what we can see appears the body is decent.

Petros, when you click on the VIN (the number itself) at the Row52 page, scroll down and under Driveline it says "FWD."

All of the Row52 listings I've seen for T4WD's have specified "4WD" as the Driveline type.
