Re: the mother load
wow! a gold mine! In what part of the country are you?
Around here (seattle area) the T4wd are still fairly popular with an almost cult like status, and very few of the yards have any. only rarely now, usually pretty beat too. Used to be 2 to 3 available at any time at various yards, not any more.
there is one new forum member looking for a good used harmonic balancer for his 3ac engine. find the thread and send him a PM.

Re: the mother load
If any of these Tercels have cruise control or the optional ADJUSTABLE intermittent windshield wipers, I'd be interested in those. Also, the '87 double-din stereo would be nice. Mine only plays tapes...

Re: the mother load
I think that someone is gonna hook me up with a balancer. I do need a rear wiper arm (or advice on how to fix mine - not enough tension to stay flush to the window).

Re: the mother load
I have the same issue. I was thinking about just bending the arm. Anyone have a better idea?

Re: the mother load
Haven't looked at one in awhile but I think there is a spring in there. Could it just be replaced?Abletobecain wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2019 9:19 amI have the same issue. I was thinking about just bending the arm. Anyone have a better idea?

Re: the mother load
i've been planning on taking mine off and seeing if it could be prepared. I usually like to have a spare in case I break it in the process of fixing it (which thereby becomes the process of replacing it).
