Batch of Tercel 4wd parts $150

Post by CMB »

See pics. I wrote up description once, but lost it from time out. :|
Everything pictured is new in box parts for tercel 4wd wagon ( these were purchased for my 84 sr5)
Asking $150 for the lot.
The water pump is for a first gen toyota van. All else are tercel parts.
I also have a nice condition washer fluid reservoir and coolant reservoir. Not pictured, but included.

Also I will be offering up my running tercel for parts soon. A complete parts car. Nice strong motor with rebuilt top end and fully rebuilt carb some 5 years ago. Runs great. Hit rear ended and then hit again from drivers side. Still drives straight. Salvage title. $600 lots of new (genuine toyota) parts when i rebuilt her in 2011-2013.

Pm if interested in either.
Thanks,
Carson

if you would be willing to sell it separately, I've been needing a wiper switch assembly out of an SR5 (with the intermittent setting) as an upgrade for my '87 T4WD DLX wagon

PM me if interested in doing this

1987 Tercel DLX 4WD wagon, 6-speed manual, 274K -- got this one running Jan. 2015 (had been sitting for 2 years); this has been my daily driver since 2016

Gary- Think you're gonna find you'll need a T/S ass'y from an '85 or newer SR5 for your upgrade. You may be able to adapt an earlier one, but it ain't gonna be plug n play...
if it aint there, there's a good chance it won't break!
83 SR5 Silver/Blue (Snowmobile/work beater)-totaled but drivable
85 SR5 Blue
88 SR5 White (the 'good' one)-not anymore-totaled
87 fwd silver wagon a/t
87 4wd dx Cream (a/t- not anymore- now m/t)

I was not aware that there was any difference between SR5 years for the wiper-T/S-headlight assembly

specifically, what's part(s) of the assembly are compatible between the 1983-84 and 1985-88 SR5's, and what's not compatible?

Early cars have a 4-pin connector on the wiper motor. Later models have 5-pins. As I recall if you put an early model ass'y in a late car, you loose at least one of the functions (park maybe? intermittent maybe?) It's possible if you swapped motors and modified the wiring you could get it to work- never went down that road (pretty much a plug n play kinda guy!) Would like to have one for my '87 FWD 'tho (already converted my "good" '87 4WD DLX to intermittent by swapping ass'y out of my wrecked '88 SR5.)
