Searching for AT Kickdown Linkage near Salem, OR -- Suggestions?

Post by explorinloren »

I've seen this part referenced on several forums for this site, but does anybody know if they are ever sold on aftermarket websites, or will I have to scour the auto yards? I live in Corvallis, OR.

I've been shifting my automatic transmission from L to 2 to D, making me nostalgic for my SR5 days, but I'm afraid its going to start degrading my transmission...

if you have to it should not be too hard to fabricate your own. it would be easiest if you can find the socket ends that fit over the pivots from some other model (look in all auto trans toyotas from similar years as the Tercel, you will find one). than all you have to do is either shorten it, or make it longer, as required.
