Windshield trim

Post by Guthrie » Mon Nov 14, 2016 4:08 pm

I was driving down the highway and the top length of my windshield trim blew right off.

Does anyone know where I could find a replacement, or something compatible? Also, is this going to affect the seal of my windshield or is it purely aesthetic?

Thanks!

it will not affect the seal, it is just trim to hide the edge of the glass.

you would have to spend some time walking around a wrecking yard to see if you can find something similar. this kind of trim was only used on cars from the '80s, best bet would be to look at other Toyotas from this same time, about 1980 to perhaps 1992.
