Well I got the axles, and another problem arose. The teeth on the axle spindle are too snug to slide into the transmission. It gets stuck halfway in and will not budge. Hard as Hell to pry out to. An easy job made difficult. At this point I wish I had gone remanufactured. It there any way to buy the gear that the axle spindle slides into? If I can buy this gear, I will use some grinding compound to hone it to spec by sliding the gear on and off of the spindle until it fits. For now I put the old axle back on. I wasn't having issues with the old axle. It slid right it. Anyone know how to get this gear?

I have one of those gears that I used for just his purpose. I may be needing it again in a few weeks, but I'd be happy to send it to you if you send it back when you're done.
