I'm more concerned about the rigidity of the milling head than anything else. The vertical support looks too thin and like it would give too much deflection under cutting forces, resulting in chatter and a crappy job. This is especially important if I want to use a boring head, which I do. Those machines are single phase, 110 volt, and only weigh a couple hundred pounds.
