Looks like new mounts were welded in the back...rods strengthened...front has a spacer welded in. Fairly simple...sort of. Looks like the front swaybar eventually broke...you'd need to loosen up that joint at the control arms?

very impressive.
but instead of welding up big spacers under the rear springs, has anyone found another make/model car with larger springs that will fit in?
my older brother fit some model Ford springs into the back of his '84 corolla which lifted it WAY up. he never had any problems from it.

Somebody on here used some jeep springs in the back I think. I'd search on several terms....springs...lift....jeep?

Hi so how many inch lift does this give and does it place extra wear on the front C.v. shafts with all this lift?

the more you lift it, the more the angle on both the CV joints, and the rear axle U-joints, causing them to wear out faster. If you limit the lift to an inch or two max, there likely would not be much impact on joint life, if you want more than that you need to lower the front and rear cross members (not difficult to do with spacers and longer bolts) to reduce the angle, this will also lower the CG of the engine/trans, but will also lower your ground clearance (negating some of the reason you are raising it).

I was under my wagon today and noticed that with donut boosted original springs and with the ride height still below specs...my axles are close to horizontal...that is almost no angle to the joints at either end. So at the correct ride height or above...there will be a pretty good angle on the joints.
