O'Reilly's bought out Schuck's/Kragen/Checker- The only reason that i go to these sorts of places is for oil and PB Blaster, things that are more expensive at my real parts store. I wouldn't (personally) buy anything with the house branding on it from anyplace like this- It's more than likely made from chinese dung-fired iron and bound to break as soon as you really need it. I believe O'Reillys to be the best auto parts store around. It is the only place I will go, unless I don't have a choice. Their prices are always lower then all other parts stores, and I have never had any problems with any of their parts. However, they do sell Moog parts, which are IMO the worst parts ever. Every Moog part I have ever used (which is the "upgrade" from the house brand) has failed long before it's warranty was up, but i digress. I have been using O'Reillys parts on my cars since I have had cars, and can't complain about a single thing. I would, and do recommend them to everybody I know.

I usually don't order parts for my cars at auto parts stores, it's almost always cheaper on Rock Auto... That being said, I've had horrible luck in the past with Schucks, especially with belts... Not sure if that trend carries over.

Rockauto can have good prices...until you see the shipping charges? It's as if they don't expect anyone to see the shipping charges. Sometimes shipping is OK...must ship from various locations?

I buy the majority of my auto parts at O'Reilly's. They have a good defective part return policy, and can usually look it up on the computer rather than having to bring back receipts. Of course the help is hit and miss.. one store had the best guy working there, and the next place the gal behind the counter asked if my '92 Buick LeSabre was RWD or AWD...
