Replace. The 86 (Blue) is sacrificing a tranny. I have yet to look at the front half. If its good we might be able to work something out. 4.10 is what you need, yes?

I dunno.
I'm going to have to look once I get a chance. Which could be a while with me focusing on the 85. But I will try to get it off and looked at for you.

ouch ! That doesn't look to good . I still have the old trans out of my 84 terc and it didn't look half as bad as yours . What did you do to it :P . I have a good 3:73 front ring and pinion and some good gears left . I gave a member some of the shift forks for his dads out of country tercel .

You are rough on gears Typrus. I never got around to splitting mine to see where the metal powder was coming from...might have been those gears?

Maybe a flush and Mobil synth ATF/Lubegard for that new auto?

I never drove this car just so you know.

The bearing gave out on the middle one, causing the input shaft to be demolished (spins at engine speed) and the counter and main shafts to get chewed up.
