I am the owner of that there Tercel. It is a shame really because the car was written off in March this year. Clipped a palm tree in the rain and twisted the back of the car pretty bad. (I got pics)

I have sold the car and my spare parts car to a guy I know who wanted the engine for his corolla. So parts would still be available it wanted, the front end of the green car was still really good, unsure of its current status...

The green car was, 1984 Toyota Tercel SR5, it had about 350,000 on the clock.

recond 4A-C 1.6 L engine, 32/36 Holley carby with K&N type filter, custom extractors (heat wrapped), 2inch exhaust and lukey muffle into 4 inch dump pipe. That was about the only engine mods bar a hotter coil etc.

body had an Australian release 1986 mod front bumper and grill (my parts car), respray in that green colour, 15inch mags, reset springs, pretty good stereo (12inch Kicker sub, kicker sub amp, rockford fosgate amp for 4 speakers, pioneer 4iches and 6 inches, custom side tray pods, additional tweaters running off the JVC MP3 head unit).

It was not real quick, but is sounded like a WRX with an aftermarket exhaust due to the extrator design is quite similar to that of the turbo manifold of a WRX.

I now own a Nissan 200sx, there was thoughts of using my parts car body and building up another hard core tercel (this time bright orange with 17" chrome wheels and GZE conversion) but in the end it would only be a tercel and its resale would not have been worth the dollars I spent.

I got pictures of the car when I got it and what it took to get it where it is now. I will get around to scanning the photos and resizing the digital images I already have, I have a little video of it too.

Thanks for dropping by! Really sorry to hear that you no longer have the tercel though. :( Thanks for sharing your mods and some experience.
