You gotta find a couple buddies to help you out man. It'll make a world of difference. One to manage a jack under the tranny, one to balance it on the jack, and you to put bolts in and tell them how to adjust.

Hi everyone!

I'm raven_101 from Club4ag, found this forum in 3AC-Power's sig. Cool to see. I love all old Toyotas! :)

Anyways I'll be around, now that I know there is a community here I'm kicking around the idea of building myself a nice 4WD Tercel.

Go for it. The nice thing about these cars is if you go outside of the rust belt, you can get one in excellent shape for less than $2000.

It is amazing even though I think I live out of the rust belt there are some badly rusted Tercels here in Los Angeles. I think it is mostly neglect, but who knows, I don't own them.
