1985 Tercel Sr5 river crossing

Post by muddybumper » Thu May 07, 2020 8:16 pm

I was doing some 4wheeling with my buddies, nothing major, just some forest service roads. We came to a river crossing and they asked me who I wanted to ride with since they were both driving 4runners. I told them I wasn't riding with anyone and would drive myself.

The water was pretty low, I did the same crossing a few years later in my Toyota Tundra in higher water. I can post that video too if there's any interest in seeing the difference in water levels.

That looks fun and always good to have some support vehicles. , where I live in Australia i'm more likely to drive in the sand. Here's my corolla with the diff lock on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dz3JHXYmXuA

That's awesome. I would love to find some sand in my area but it's going to be dirt in the summer and snow in the winter so at least there's that. Maybe I'll find a new river crossing spot, who knows. The one in the video is from another state I don't live in anymore.
