Nova bumper?

Post by NWMO » Mon Nov 04, 2019 8:58 am

Hey all,

Has anybody tried an AE82 or Chevrolet Nova front bumper/wrap on our Tercels? Not as nice as the European bumpers, but much easier to find.

I think that corolla chassis is wider than the Tercel, I do not see how it would fit. but measure it, it might surprise.

AE90 is wider. could cut a piece out of the centre and try. They are pretty curvy though. might not look that good. would be better to get a steel one manufactured.

Wiki specs shows just under an inch difference on width. If I’m gonna butcher anyhow, I might as well butcher the stock cover and see if I can shorten it some.

PS - Mattel, a nice steel bumper would be top shelf, but I’ve got other priorities.
