I'm avid when it comes to working on and painting metal, but I'm treading in new territory with these plastic tercel bumpers. I want to fix a small crack and paint these bumpers.
What products/methods/whatever to use on these bumpers? Thanks.
Best products to use for tercel bumper painting?

I used Rust-Oleum Satin Black and it's been on almost 10 years without flaking off.
I removed the rear bumper - and ATM - and sprayed them. The front was a lot more trouble to remove, so I used a small foam roller in situ.

if you are not changing color of the bumper, there is a Bondo product that is a two part rubber compound for fixing rubber bumpers. I have used it, works well. You clean the cut, mix the compound and trowel into the crack, smooth it out. once cured you can sand it down so the repair almost disapears. No need to paint it.
If you plan on painting the bumpers to make it appear different (like a more modern car), than you will want to use something that is flexible to stick to the hard rubber without cracking. Imiron paint is popular for that because it is not as hard and more felxible. it is popular with the homebuilt aircraft folks for painting fabric and plywood fuselages.

Good tip on the Bondo. I'm going to have to try that. My front bumper is dented in on the right side and the rubber won't bend back and I have a crack on the top of the rear. I got some rubber diamond plate strips that I'll put on after I seal it too. Paint as well.

try applying a heat gun to the distorted bumper shape, may need to block up the distorted part from behind, get it good and hot and than allow to cool. It should hold the new shape.

I recommend buying a cheap welder, and making a custom steel bumper with a winch and a stinger!
