I'm pretty sure the max for 14 inch rims without lift is 195/75/14r, I personally wouldn't go much bigger even with the lift.
Same safe max size I read somewhere.

Can anyone confirm this will fit without lift? Thanks,

This might be helpful. It shows stock 175/70 R13 vs 195/75 R14. I am still wondering how soon they would rub when turning.

I'm lifting later down the road and was looking to get rid of the rubber band tires on it at the moment. I can see the issue arising near full steering lock using just a tape measure. I'll probably do some 185 75R14 snow tires to fill the wheel arches up for now...thanks for the info!

How much do the Monroe ma700's leak down over time? I installed a set, and they are dropping about 5-10 psi every day.

I already had one shock out to re-weld a garbage bead around the top of the shock. I will probably have to do the other one. Not impressed with the factory weld quality.

not likely, the design of the suspension and drive train is completely different, you have the 3rd generation design Tercel. Much has changed in the model change over.

the same ideas may work, but you would need the correct parts to make it work.

If your car has macpherson struts front and back, I would recommend the cutting board/spacer lift. That is what subie owners do to get some lift.

What brand of lift kit can you suggest?

There is no lift kit available from any manufacturer. If you read this thread you will see the different ways you can go about lifting a tercel. Often these lifts are an accumulation of parts from other vehicles.

I would suggest the "picknpull" brand: go find the parts that fit, and gives you some lift, trial and error. cheap and fun experimenting on your own car.
