I am buying inner and outer toe rod ends from rockauto. I see that the outers are different left and right but are the inners? I see one that is 5.37" and one that is 6.30" but they don't specify left or right. Any thoughts? Thanks!
PS This is for a power steering car.
Inner tie rod ends
Re: Inner tie rod ends
Inner tie rod ends all-same (left, right, PS, MS.) It's the outers that are all different.
if it aint there, there's a good chance it won't break!

Don't know- different mfgs maybe? Got a few new ones in stock- will try to check 'em.

Re: Inner tie rod ends
If you look on rockauto, every company has 5.35" and 6.30" inner tierod ends. I am wondering if the difference could be for 2wd vs 4wd?

Re: Inner tie rod ends
In for an answer. I accidently bought two inner tie rods for the same side of the car. If they are identical, that would be wonderful!

Re: Inner tie rod ends
I think the inner rod end is the same left and right on all models, 2WD and 4wd, the power rack is a bit larger and required different mounting bushings, so it might be the difference between power and manual rack. though it reality, as long as you can get the alignment correct and not run out of thread length, it does not matter. I have substituted parts several times with slight differences like this lots of times; as long at everything lines up properly it does not make any difference.
