Control Arm Bushings Have me STUMPED!

Post by Eyeball »

So I have searched and searched and bought a couple different bushings and just tonight took the control arm apart after work and found out I purchased the incorrect ones. Where i am pointing is the bushings I am looking for (which are totally blown out) Does someone have a link to them anywhere? Ive searched rockauto, ebay, etc with no success and went to the local napa also with no success. Im assuming they dont sell them at NAPA either.. Any help would be grreeattt, thank you guys gotta get Desire back on the road asap. (Old bushings on the top)

Question solved! I guess I just didnt search on here enough, the toyota links were dead but Searching this number on ebay SPF1064K yielded results, thank you I do appreciate it. So the bushing to the left of my hand, do you know where that might go? Because those were the original ones I thought they were obviously they were not!

They're the bushings pressed into the control arm (farther to your left.)
if it aint there, there's a good chance it won't break!
83 SR5 Silver/Blue (Snowmobile/work beater)-totaled but drivable
85 SR5 Blue
88 SR5 White (the 'good' one)-not anymore-totaled
87 fwd silver wagon a/t
87 4wd dx Cream (a/t- not anymore- now m/t)

the bushings near your finger are for sway bar connection to control arm
bushing left of your hand go in left end of control arm and it attaches to car body
right end of control arm has hole where lower ball joint is attached and it connects to wheel hub assy
Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.
