Heater core flow direction?

Post by NWMO »

Hey all,

I assume this is reverse flow through the heater core? This would put the control valve on the outlet side.

the heater hose that come off the back of the head is the pressure side, and the one that goes to the back of the water pump (though the metal tube) is the suction side.

It takes the heated water from the head, and it is sucked through the heater to the suction side of the water pump housing (the back of the pump).

You should be able to figure it out from that info.
