Another alternator bites the dust

Alternator got so hot, it was smoking, and melted the insulation on the wires connecting to it!

Might just get one from autozone with the lifetime warranty...

that happens when the voltage regulator goes kaput, and allows it to over charge the car. sometimes also causes the battery to get damaged, burn out a cell, etc.

The battery leaked a little bit of corrosion on the negative post, maybe because of this?
