that LED light bar is pretty cool, how much did it cost? might affect fuel economy with all the little arrows getting caught it as they flow over the car as you drive down the hwy.

Thanks. I bought it on eBay last week I think for 57 dollars. I'll be alright with the fuel economy sucking. Whenever I start driving this baby beast, I'll just be driving to and from work in it every now and then. 12 mile round trip. For now it remains a garage queen until it's finished and I don't even know when that will be. Still so much work to do to it.

For lack of better words, I envy you so much right now Bailey.....hahaha, and at 57 bucks you can't beat it!! What size did you go with? Do you have links? Last time I searched I couldn't find one for less than $100 :/

That sounds pretty awesome Jim! I would love to convert a wagon to full time rwd with a 4agze and a t50 tranny one day!! Maybe when the transmission goes out in mine thats what I'll do? Muhahahaha

Even though I drive a lot every week, fuel economy is sadly that last thing on my mind haha, I drive all of my cars like I stole them...Guess its because I'm young haha

Dude, I messed up! I've never dealt with light bars before. I just measured the top of the roof all half ass and it was near 42 inches so I bought a 42 inch light bar not knowing that it didn't come with rain gutter clamps. So I took a hammer to some steel bars, cut and welded them half ass and bolted them to the roof rack bar. Looks legit but will never work off roading. Strictly for on road use only. Hahaha!

Hahaha, I've never dealt with them either, I was going to order a 40" one, haha. So what your saying is that you need one that goes from rain gutter to rain gutter? And make sure it comes with gutter clamps?! But hey, whatever works, works...Thats always been my motto at least!

I'm not even sure there are any gutter clips for those lights. I think they'd have to be custom made or something. They come with mounts that you are supposed to drill through the roof and bolt them on that way. I'm going to be on the look out for something other than what I made because it's Hella flimsy. Im digging the outcome though.

Ohh ok, I'm about to do some researching and see if I can find anything close to gutter clips haha. I don't know if your like me, but it doesn't sound fun to drill through your roof....haha. And heck yeah, I love it dude!

Exactly! Piece of angle iron and a piece of flat metal, shouldn't take more than an hour to make both of them! Plus you could get fancy and put a design in the flat metal if you wanted too

Today I learned that there is a hell, and it's the front differential hitting the steering rack.
But...did you try hitting it with a hammer?

 WOW

Engine&transaxle all in one lump on a trec.
No wonder you had trouble with the rack in the way.
Personally I'd would have done them separately

Hahaha, I uh...thought it wouldn't be so bad. I may put them in separate, but will probably just pull the front bumper. I unhooked the rack from the crossmember and steering column and dragged the whole powertrain assembly out across it. I felt 0 concern for the power steering lines and may end up disconnecting and plugging them or something. I'd get another manual rack for it, but can't get new yokes for it anymore.
