I love those lights on the bumper. Can you post a close up photo please to show how they are mounted? Are they fog, driving or spot lights?

hi jony they are a cheap light made by pilot pl-282c,they call them driving lights for off road use only, we have a law here that you must have day time running lights or your head lights on in the day time so I leave them on all the time in case I for get to turn on my head lights. they come in a kit lights, wire and switch for 20.00 bucks,, a far as mounting them they have a u-shaped bracket and I just took out one of the 6mm bolts that holds the rubber on the bumper and just used the one bolt to mount them, will take some pics tonite

You don't have to order anything from them to have your car featured. I do order a lot of stuff though.

Just a friendly reminder to keep an ear out to anything that doesn't sound right on your tercs. Posting this as I am currently stranded awaiting a tow truck because my sway bar bracket fell off.

Ewwww, that doesn't sound like fun!! Nothing bad happened though did it? I do have a sound coming from my front end, but I'm pretty sure its just my cv axle being noisy... Hopefully....

when ever I am doing any work under the car I always inspect all the fasteners, and if possible put a wrench on them and check that they are tight.

It is rare that I find one loose, but occasionally I do. I drive 6 miles of gravel roads everyday, three out from the house, and three back home, and it tends to do a number on anything that moves on the car, working fasteners loose. I have had the nut at the top of the strut mount back off and the end of the strut pull out, I have also had the large flange nut on the top of the strut tube, that holds the cartage into the strut tube, back out and have the cartridge rattling around.

Something happened alright. I think the joint on the axel closest to the transmission toasted itself. I brought it home yesterday to look at it and it just drove like absolute hell on the way home. It shakes really hard only under load. I'm hoping it is just the cv, nothing else looked out of whack.

usually the inner cv joints do not fail (they have a smaller angle on it that the outer ones), it is usually the outer ones that go first.

I quick test is to try and rotate the axle by holding it on each side of the CV joint, it should not have any noticeable rotational movement. badly worn CV joint will rotationally move over a 1/4". note that the plunge, or telescopic movement of the joints is normal, and not a reason for concern.

good luck
