Where are you located? How many miles on the car?

whatever is on sale. i don't think there's much point in buying expensive engine oil if it is being changed as regularly as it should. trans and diff oil, i can justify the higher cost of synthetic since you don't change that stuff very often, but that's it for me.

i don't like cheap oil filters though. i've had one quaker state one that gave low oil pressure and two frams that had the gasket stick to the block when i replaced them. i didn't know at the time to always check that so my wife's car pissed all its fresh oil out. live and learn: always check the block before installing the new filter, and don't buy fram or quaker state.

I find synthetic is better, smoother running better cold starts and more fuel economy, and longer change intervals with good filters
