Location of paint code on an 84 wagon 4wd

I have looked at the metal door plate in the drivers door, and everywhere else on the car including reading the VIN. I cannot find the paint code on my car. Where is it located? I have searched this forum and gone to sites that show so many variants of blue for my model year. My color is a light blue metallic and it is clearcoated. I am narrowing it down to thinking that my code is 8A8 but then some sites only show that if I select my model year to be 1983....my car is a 1984 by registration and title, but it was Manufactured in Nov. of 1983. Anyone know the BLUE paint codes used on a 1984 SR5? I am trying to get some paint mixed in spray cans so I can repair little spots on various locations on the car. Thanks for the help!

I found the code on the metal tag on the firewall this afternoon....Sure enough, it is 8A8...however, that site you gave me the link to does not show that for '84. It shows it for '83 and '85. WEIRD.
