Yes, it does!
OK - time for a niggling and snarky comment: If the dealer gave the PO a "good deal" on a trade-in (which was obviously waay far away from $7K ["Sir - it's 27 years old and only worth $1500."]) - don't you think the dealer could make a couple of new shift lever covers for it? Or at least locate the 6S lever cover properly in the console?
And maybe pay a visit to the local AutoZone or Advance and pop $3 for a new clutch pedal pad? $7K with no pad? Tacky!
I do wonder the trade-in value the dealer gave.

That side of the family was never in the car business...just could not help yourself could you Takza?
The car only has 81k miles, and looks sharp! A bit high but not unreasonable, it has the factory alloy wheels. It could have been detailed better, but not unreasonable for a new car dealer.

They're hoping for a sucker with too much money and no brains. You can see the rust on body in the close up of the tire, you can see where they painted over some rust on the tailgate badge and it looks like there is rust on the seams at the door frames. The brake pad is worn, clutch pedal is missing, the shifter boots are worn, the driver seat looks like it has someone was in and out regularly or was fat. My guess is the car either has 81K miles and was parked in the weather, notice the "chrome," and driven by a fat person with heavy feet OR the car was a DD and reasonably well taken care and someone wasn't above altering the odometer to up the price.

Re: Nicest Stock T4wd Ever... But WoW$$$
look at the condition of the cargo cover! looks brand new. odd, it appears all of the 4wd mud flaps are missing. I do not see any major problems with rust (but we can not tell for sure in these pictures, let the buyer be wary), but this car should have been detailed much better, including painting the black out trim, around the front corner marker lights, and put in new floor mats at that price. And install the mud flaps. The drivers seat could also be restuffed with extra or new foam too.
They might get $5000 for it. They likely just gave the trade in what the low whole sale book value is on the car, unless they really sleazed the seller. How popular are these cars in Alabama? They may sit on it for a while. likely someone at the dealer saw the one sell on e-bay for $10,800.

Re: Nicest Stock T4wd Ever... But WoW$$$
i can't see the body rust arb mentioned but i can clearly see the hatch rust just above the 4WD hatch badge. also, both the rear wheels are missing the center caps. when i notice details like these, as well as the filthy stained floor mats, worn out (and not even properly seated) shifter boots, and missing clutch pedal pad, i really doubt the seller. it makes me wonder what else is wrong that they have not noticed. i don't like dealerships in the first place and have found most sales staff to be completely unknowledgeable so i would be really cautious about this one.
it looks great, really, but i feel like it might be a polished turd, so to speak.

Well - I sent the dealer an email via its site just wishing him luck, etc., but also mentioning for $7K he could spend $3 for a new clutch pedal pad and realign the shifter cover in the console.
We shall see if he replies (I DID get a "personal" response that he would answer all of my questions...).

Looks to me like a $3500-4000 Tercel to me. You can see the plastic on the B pillar is cracked, as it usually is on a car of this age. The cosmetic imperfections aside, I would be more interested in how the car drives and the condition of the engine and trans.

Granted that the inside of the car is quite clean, but as Petros mentioned - that luggage cover looks cleaner and a different shade that did the one in my then-new '83 with a similar interior. Maybe it's just the lighting, but that cover looks kinda weird - although it certainly is OE.

that 'video' sucked. zooming in on lousy pics that are already available, playing lousy jazz, and having someone give lousy details like "smooth-shifting transmission" is straight lousy. this dealership is completely out of touch with reality.

Hey - I didn't say it was up for an Academy Award or Golden Globe (or Genie for you Canucks)!
But I'd sure agree with your comments on the dealership's efforts! Of course, I have yet to receive a comment from it on my email of the 29th.
