Nice!

If it runs well, it won't last long at that price.

They re-posted! Mush have had a deadbeat buyer or something, It’s the same car on this thread; viewtopic.php?t=3449, but that link is dead now. Of course seeing it again just makes me remember I don't have 2K or a way to get it from CA, but someone should buy it, It really is a beauty!

So you’re looking for one in the TC’s too huh? We should really track down that guy that’s got five of them in his yard and FORCE HIM TO SELL!! Apparently he has more at other locations too, I wouldn’t be surprised if he owns half of the Tercel wagons in the Twin Cities (it’s not fair :( )

Yeah, I've become obsessed with finding one... constantly searching craigslist... missed out on that nice one a few days ago, and now I'm so desperate that I'm considering buying that hideous rusted out one I posted a while back. I'm also thinking about flying out to cali and driving one back...

I'd make a road trip from Tibet for that one. 8)

That one's pretty nice too, heck, I think any Tercel with only surface rust is great! I really need to start saving money so when my perfect Tercel comes along I can actually buy it instead of just drooling.

Those Craigslisters are warned about out of state purchases, and there are quite a few scams with cashiers checks, personal checks, etc. When I tried to sell my truck, I got about 10 bogus offers from out of state to buy it immediately. So you might have trouble buying it from them, but you could try, and actually calling them would be a good idea. There would still have to be some trust though, and I'm willing to bet some people wouldn't want to bother, especially if they have people locally who want to buy it. My dad goes to California and Texas to lecture frequently, and I am always trying to convince him to drive me back a car.
