Looks nice, but WAAAY too much ($1200)! 195K, mostly rust free? heater not working, like I said, way too much but I thought I'd post it anyway, she says she's got lots of extra parts for it.

About what I paid a few years ago...sounds like good maintenance, extra parts, and little rust. Decent price for the midwest?

Well, I paid $1075 for Goldie with 174K nearly three years ago - and she was not nearly that (apparently) clean inside, with no spare parts, although a totally rust-free TN car. And I have put "a few" bucks into her...
For some reason I believe I may have corresponded (no, not that kind of correspondence...) with this lady a couple of years ago about another Wagon she was selling.

If the rust isn't too bad and everything else is good to go, I'd say not too out of line. Not rotten ones are rare in these parts. Even rotten ones don't show up very often.

Either wait, possibly for years for a deal, or factor how much time and money a trip cross country would be.

$1200 on car could be spent FAR worse imho.

I guess I'm just used to cars with that many miles costing under $1000 (i paid $650 for my Tercel, with 135K, but it was rusty), I guess if it is really rust free, well I don't have a place to put it or the money anyway:(
