2 '84's, and a '87 have to go

2 '84's, and a '87 have to go

Wife says the cars have to go. I have a 84 parts car and a 84 driver SR5 with character. and a 87 with tranny problems. $900 for all three or best offer. PM for pics and more info. The cars are in NE Oregon. The Mailman

Heh. Maybe if these are still for sale in 3-4 months I can get them.... We'll see what happens with this Marketing business....

Well got the head off and found some sloppieness in the #2 piston. took it out and found out half the piston was missing. found it in the oil pan. i was lucky just to be driving it still. Well dropped a piston in from the parts car and swapped parts over to the head and will install tomorrow. Pics to follow. The Mailman

If you don't have any image hosting, e-mail the pics to me [darrin,moore#gmail,com] (replace commas with dots and replace pound sign with @) and I'll host them for you.

Once I e-mail you back the links (or if you have hosting such as imageshack {yuck}), all you do is click the "Img" button above the text box in your reply and paste the URL in the pop-up.

hope i did this right. first time :o next project is to swap the tranny from the parts to the '87 and then the front axles from the parts to the daily driver. The Mailman

Just curious, you didn't notice the hole in the block? Looks like the hole in the block I took out of ours, see pics in the repairs section under
viewtopic.php?t=2169

Hole in the block was from the parts car, #4 cyl. took out #2 and put it in the daily driver. Good to go. The Mailman
