1984 Tercel 4wd

Post by BaileySims » Tue Aug 11, 2020 6:46 pm

Up for sale is my beloved 1984 Toyota tercel wagon. I have been daily driving this beast for the last 6 years and taking care of it as best as I could.
It has a 6 speed transmission, 1-5 plus access to an extra low gear when 4wd is engaged. Did i mention this is a 4wd wagon? It can definitely hold its own on and off road with no hesitation. The car shows 241k miles but the motor has a lot less miles. I can not definitively say how much less, but i swapped in this motor that was in storage for 8 years after being rebuilt. I have removed and/or blocked off the emission related equipment during the switch over to a Weber carburetor.

The car does have all the A/c components but I have not looked for the leak well enough to fix it.The car will also come with the roof rails, rack and led light bar. I have replaced all the suspension components as well when I converted to air ride. Yes, this sweet wagon rides on air. The wheels are Rotas 0+, they are 15x7 with a 32mm offset. They fit nice while lifted up and sitting on the ground.

The driver seat is pretty tore up from the years of use and i mistakenly tore the bottom of the rear seat trying to fit a mini bike in the back some time ago. The car definitely needs a paint job. I tried to paint it myself, twice, failing horribly both times. Think of the horrid primer job as rust prevention. I have decided to let go of the wagon because I have bought another car and no longer have the space necessary to store it. I would prefer this car go to an enthusiast and not someone who will trash it. Asking 3k or best offer. Thanks for looking. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Blood, sweat and beers.
