Nice rig, fair price

This forum is for cars that run, or at least are close to running. This isn't for parting out complete cars.

Did you get to see it before it disappeared? If not...it was in great shape with decent mileage. Had custom bumpers front and back, winch, bigger tires, roof rack, and a snorkel! He was only asking $1,300.

you will not be able to resist the urge to keep buying them for very long, especial when that really nice cream puff shows up at a great deal.

your will power will eventually fail...

Oh I won't have any will power once I get into my new house. I'll be buying every one that I can find. I think I'll dub my future yard "The T4 Treasure Trove."

C'mon Petros! You know these cars don't die...they just hibernate! :) And I'm shooting for a 3 country area.

you have to start somewhere, three countries today, the rest of the world tomorrow.

I have long harbored a happy fantasy of gathering all of the T4wd we can collect, and than run them through an assembly line for a total rebuild and up date, and put them back on the market with a new car warranty. it would cost perhaps $8 to 10k per car. What would a "fresh" Tercel4wd, updated and in showroom new condition sell for? No way of knowing, but if it could sell for $15,000 or more, there might be some profit in it. but other than a few nostalgic fans, not sure there is that many who would pay that much for a 30 year old design, and car, no matter how well done.
