Wow, flashback. Haven't seen one since around 1990. Looks fairly well preserved. The front doors meeting sliders with no pillar is unique!
Probably rarer than a T4? Could make parts procurement harder than what we deal with.

Yea, I'm not sure about the no b-pillar thing for structural integrity. But I guess it's made it this far...it would crumple in a wreck though.
Finding parts would definitely be an issue.

Able,
I see one of those about 20 miles from me that has been sitting for some time, but looks decent as I drive by. I do believe they would be more difficult for parts and repair. I don't know if they kept the longitudinal engine or went transverse, but they are pretty similar to our rigs. I don't like the body lines quite as well, either, but I wouldn't say no if somebody tried to give me one
Chris

Re: Not a T4 but almost as cool.
almost all car companies had a 4wd model available after Subaru did well. Mitsubichi, Honda, Toyota and Nissan all had 4wd cars imported.
I liked this Nissan but never ended up getting one. it had that funny sliding van like door on it.
of all of the other 4 wd cars, only the Tercel4wd are still around, and Subaru of course.
