Year: 1983

Needs Transmission

Bought this one in Salt Lake City, immediately put a brand new clutch kit in it, and only made it to Wyoming before the whole transmission went out.
Can't find a transmission anywhere and need a running vehicle soon.. so I need to sell.
The rest of the car is in great condition, I had everything checked out by a mechanic and the only problem it has is the trans.
If you have a working one, this car would have a lot of life left to give. LOW MILES and GREAT CONDITION.
There's a small ding on the rear passenger side, you can see it near the gas door. But other than that and the expected paint wear,
exterior looks great. Interior is in great condition as well.
I was really hoping to find one of these that I could keep running, but I'm just running out of time..
It's currently in Rock Springs, Wyoming. A few hours outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. I have the blank title ready with me.

Hey Jared sorry this didn't work out for you. Did you get in touch with the original owners? I can't believe that no one here is able to help take this car on.

yeah it still hurts thinking about it..
no, i haven't gotten in touch with them.
it was a craigslist buy, and he was ready to sell.
so i rolled the dice with it and tried to cover my bases..
i suppose if i'm trying to sell it at less than half the price i bought it for, he may be interested.
i might give him a try.

i will say, as my first terc experience, those three hours through the mountains were a pretty incredible drive.

I spied an 83 4wd with the trans still in it at my local pick n pull. Unfortunately I don't have the time to pull it and rescue this car :/
