Apparently this place found a "recent" transmission, lies! lies! lies!

Recent 5 speed manual 4WD transmission, Michelin tires, recent shocks and struts, working AC, full size spare. Blown head gasket. You tow or trailer. May be seen at The Engine Room in Santa Cruz."
It takes more fossil fuel resources to produce new vehicles than it would take to maintain and fuel any 70's or 80's vehicle for a million miles.

I think they just mean it was replaced recently.

Not sure why they wouldn't replace the head gasket though.

If that is true, that would be a good buy. Head gasket replacement is an easy afternoon job, I could fix it there and drive it home and turn a decent profit on it in the Puget Sound area.

Someone should save this car, well worth it IF all it needs is a head gasket.

I would if I could afford it - though, I've never actually done a head gasket.

Someone bought it. I was waiting for some more pictures, but he emailed me back saying it was sold. I walk past this dealership every year when I vacation in Santa Cruz.
