Old User Pruning

Post by Neu »

Today (May 30th, 2009) I will be pruning old users. This means accounts that are older then 1 year old, with 0 posts. If I accidentally make a mistake and delete an account that is still in use then please message me.

By pruning these old users it will speed up the database, searches, pretty much everything.

Thank you!

Also I am rebuilding the search database. It has taken nearly a week of 4 hours a day of doing this to get it all done. It's mostly automated, but I didn't want to stress the server all that much so I decided not to do it all in one big chunk.

Happy Searching!

I reckon you have earned Brians Car many times over Chad. Glad to hear that your keeping it in the fold. That was awesome of Brian to give it to you as well. Thanks for the good work!

Hey, Bryan !
As you may know, the link no longer works.
Since the tale of your car is about the most romantic of all of our cars, how about writing up something for the site with the pix - we can make it a sticky.

I look at last Login date, NOT LAST POST.

If you don't login, you'll get pruned. If you do, you have nothing to worry about.
