A friend of mine who is working on his Austin Mini just told me about these spark plugs. It's obviously pretty gimmicky but it also looks really cool. My friend's description: "It's a clear-bodied spark plug that lets you see what colour the flame is in the combustion chamber so you can see if the mix is rich (orange), lean (white), or just right (light blue). I think I'm going to get one, partially just because that's cool as hell."

cleaver invention, but I can see it being way more useful if the fuel mixture was easy to adjust. this would be ideal for the old SU duel carb set up, or if you have a megasquirt EFI system.

it does not appear to be durable enough for running it under load, so it means you can only use it to check the idle, or just off idle mixture. if you could, I can see this tool very useful for fine tuning the jetting on a Weber, especially if you can rig a way to inspect it while driving at speed under load.

if you buy this, check back and let us know how it works out.
