my home made alum rim straightener

Post by jimcrazy » Fri Feb 06, 2015 10:39 am

had a lot of people ask me to straighten their bent rims for them, put this together and it works really well. little heat and a little jacking, can get them back 90% sometimes better depending on the make of rim.

the large shaft you see stickin out has tapered collars on both sides like a wheel balancer, then it steps down to 1-1/2 shaft that goes through 2 bearings with a 1"nc thread to pull it up tight and lets you spin the wheel
