Re: New Owner in Vancouver WA

lowbuck,

I am working with a guy that does vinyl vehicle wraps. I specifically looked for one who did RV style striping as I figure that is most similar.

That orange would be out of this world if you pull it off!

Rear differential Oil Q

Hey, So I have a really nice T4 and am trying to keep it nice. I had a guy swap the rear wheel bearings and front struts. He asked me to bring 4 qts of gear oil do I did. I asked him what he did with it because I assume with that amount he did a drain and fill on the manual trans and front different...

Re: New Owner in Vancouver WA

I used all the Philips Ultinon bulbs (combo of rockauto and amazon). I think total spent was 150 or so...but it looks nice, increases safety and I had it so I spent it! 150 isn't so bad when you consider it was 15 bulbs that'll last 5 years minimum

Re: A Tercel CHALLENGE: How hot is your heater?

Cheapest core on roackauto is 43 bucks Petros. I guess less the 5% discount they offer to pretty much anyone

Given that it's such a b$@#% to get out I would go new or go home!

Re: A Tercel CHALLENGE: How hot is your heater?

Hmmm.... well if I had to guess I would say 93 degrees? I'm bout ta do a vinegar flush of the heater core and replace the foam in the flaps while I have the dash cover off to install the inclinometer.... I'm hopeful to get up to 115 degrees ;)

Re: flasher mod for LED bulbs

Hey folks, anyone reading know if the described procedure will work on the below photograph? It's from a 84' SR5 It appears I do have the 3.3uf and 4.7uf capacitors, just in a slightly different format. http://preview.ibb.co/jvjd1S/20180210_180015.jpg http://preview.ibb.co/e1kkgS/20180210_180002.jpg...

Re: WTB - few items for my new ride

If anyone reads this I have everything I need now! I mean no one from the forum offered anything but I did find it at junk yards and via craigslist so I'm good!

Now I just need time to start strapping things on!

Re: Dilemma Regarding my SR5

Looks like you didn't get too many responses yet!?! Any decision? If it were me and I was so minimally invested (800 bucks!) I would likely walk. If what you need is transport 'like today'. If you want to work on it in your free time and don't mind being hassled by the mechanical gremlins of a 30'is...

Thank you Folian! I'll see what I can get done about making myself one! So many cool things on this forum (from 2013)! Sad that I missed the boat on many of them.

Cheers
