Re: Removing power steering?

You should actually loop in the input and output lines together so that fluid can circulate when the rack is moved.

Re: E85 conversion.

don't forget that E85 tends to eat aluminum, as in carburetors. To run E85 effectively, you'd have to bump compression to ~12:1 at least, completely rejet the carb, and then figure out how to make the stuff not eat the carb from the inside out.

Re: My brakes !!!

Mine was sitting for awhile and ended up having a stuck piston on the right caliper, I just rebuilt them both myself... Rock Auto has (had?) a complete rebuild kit for both sides for ~$10.

Re: Voltage Drop and headlight performance

If you're crafty, a set of Hella 90mm Projectors will make your life happy for lighting, I did a set in my Celica and they're amazing: http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x306/Zoomy_the_pix_girl/09-20-08%20PDX%20end%20of%20Summer%20Meet/09-20-08%20PDX%20Meet/IMG_1277.jpg http://turboninjas.com/galler...

Re: Voltage Drop and headlight performance

The way I see it, any money put into quality lighting is an investment in safety. That being said, Silverstars are junk. Any bulbs coated with any kind of blue or purple are junk. There's a reason silverstars don't last that long. Only about 10% of the light that a halogen light puts out is in the b...

Re: Soon to be 4WD Tercel owner.

You're talking about the meet on August 30th? I had thought about it, I'd probably go in the Celica though, it's much nicer on the freeway, and the Tercel still isn't quite up to 100% yet, small oil leak and needs a new hatch glass (some asshole broke mine out in my driveway >_>). I've got the glass...

Pac NW project fun car!

Hey everyone, a friend sent me here. Haven't got a Tercel yet, gonna be getting one for free with a BHG and no carb next weekend. I'm definitely no stranger to Toyota though, I've had my '83 Celica GT-S for about 7 years now. It's had the original 22RE replaced with a 2RZ, the suspension has been go...
