Re: Another Seattle AL25 member
I got a chance to install the new Marlin Crawler shifter seat yesterday. It fit perfectly. I took it for a short little test drive and the shifting is so tight and precise. If you are looking to improve the feel of your shifter I highly recommend this very cheap improvement. 3DF6ABB5-A994-48A3-B79F-...

Here you can see that the original part is a little thicker.
The one on the right is the Toyota part
And here are the shifter seats

Re: Another Seattle AL25 member
Yeah I think so. The blue one for the Rf1a transfer case shifter looks to be the right shifter seat bushing (the blue one) and I got the socket bushing for the L43 side shift transmission. I bought the original Toyota Tercel parts to compare them. The seat looks like the right one however the socket...

I'm pretty sure it is legal in Washington but the law states that each seat with a seatbelt must be occupied before passengers can occupy other places.

Re: Another Seattle AL25 member
I made it out to the wrecking yard this weekend and scrounged up some fun parts. There was an 84' with a grey interior that had been picked pretty clean. I got a steering wheel from it cause mine is disentigrating. They also had an 86 car that was pretty fully loaded and had only been there for 3 da...

Clean tan car found
I went to the local wrecking yard to raid parts off of two terc's today and while I was pulling the dash pad off I was astonished at its condition. If you are looking for a near mint condition dash pad there is one at Federal Way auto wrecking. http://i1071.photobucket.com/albums/u513/nadiller/all-t...

Re: Starting Issues Getting Worse...And Charcoal Canister Removal Questions!!
I'm wondering if sea foam would help. I have been amazed at what it can fix. I think there is a way to draw it into the vaccuum system, I wonder if it would clean out the charcoal canister?

Re: What have you done to your wagon lately?
I fixed my sticking 5th gear/reverse pin piston thing, it started earlier where it was a big pain to shift into 5 while I was driving kind of like it was binding up, so I searched the forums and found out where this mystical part was, when I removed it, it was all rusty and kind of caught when i tr...

Re: AMC Dealers 1985 comparison test. Eagle vs. Tercel
they lied when they tested it on the greased slope and said the Tercel couldn't drive up the hill because it had a center differential. but you could clearly see smoke pouring out from the front passenger tire.

Got my shifter bushings from Marlin Crawler in the mail. Now I should be able find the gear I want while driving. 8792EC5E-BAC7-4C90-9668-7C57A595B442.jpg Yesterday I tried fitting the shifter bushings to my transmission and the were both too big. So I'll have to see if they offer a version smaller.
